Happy Birthday

During a previous birthday (an eon ago)
The picture can be enlarged by left clicking on it
Today I turned 91 and I know the figure is correct. As I rose from my bed, I counted all my aches and pains and they added up to exactly ninety one.
But on the other hand, I was unable to count all my blessings. How grateful I am that they are too numerous to tally!

There once was a sailor named Dom
Who sailed many oceans–some calm
He sailed and he sailed to his heart’s content
And now has become quite the blogging gent
He’s older and wiser, on this we agree
But so young in spirit - how lucky are we!

Happy Birthday Papa!!!!
We wish you only the best,
All our love
Chrissy, Adrienne and Roger

Best Wishes for a Very Happy Birthday, Dom.

We should all follow your example and count all of our blessings every day of our lives.

Cheers,

Happy Birthday Papa!

What a great picture! It brings back many fond memories. Never will forget one sailing trip to Nantucket many years ago when we encountered heavy fog & wind heading for Tarpaulin Cove in Vineyard Sound and your calming voice on the VHF-radio guiding our boat to the Ark Angel!

Great memories.....best wishes today and always.

Love,

Evelyn & Tom

Dom,

Congratulations and happy 91st birthday! I am sorry that this note is a day late... Mara let me know about your birthday yesterday afternoon.

Things are good with Mara and me... We are planning our move (even) further uptown to 117th St. and we are getting packed for the physical move which will happen in one week. I’m so glad that I’ve been able to get to know you a little bit and hope that we can get to know each other more in the future. Please send my regards to Lenore and I hope you are having a very enjoyable summer.

Kind regards,
Rob Freeman

I met this most amazing couple Sunday 8/14/2005, while I was doing an Open House for my Real Estate Company Weichert, in Rye New York...
A Dr. Gabriel and his lovely wife stopped in because they saw this home was up for sale and that he was the very one that built it and raised his family in the late 50's...An Amazing quirk of a coincidence? He told me more things about this home then I knew from the owner..which I shared later on with them when they came home. I Thank you both for the pleasure of meeting you. You passed thru my life thatvery day and at that very moment some 21 odd years later to that very place where you started your lives...
PRICELESS!!!!
