Carrots and Corpses

I tried but could not find an appropriate cartoon/caricature to illustrate this Post. But your nimble imagination can bring the following scene to life:

Locale: Entrance gate to Teheran ~ Obama sits astride his donkey as he is being warmly embraced by Ahmadinejad. Massive saddle bags, bulging with carrots, lay strapped across the donkey's back. Joining Ahmadinejad in the ceremony are Hugo Chavez, Osama Bin Laden, Muktada al-Sadr and Fidel Castro.

Senator Obama: Carrots keep terrorists very far away.

Ahmadinejad: I esteem Barack and Michelle Obama.

The Senator has unbounded confidence in the mellifluous tone he will use with those "well meaning" folks who have for so long been "so wrongly" regarded as America's enemies.

Ahmadinejad ponders how he will use Obama's naivete to disassemble American power and bury it in the same gaping grave he has dug for the "stinking corpse" of Israel.

O Tempora! O Mores! Need more be said or conjured?
