An inspired choice!
Today, the presidential campaign underwent a dramatic change of complexion. With an electrifying announcement and presentation by Senator McCain, the radiance now emanating from the Republican ticket appears to have totally eclipsed its Democratic adversaries. In the wake of that party's spectacular convention there is now an anti-climactic darkness and depressing gloom under the Democratic umbrella.
(Listen closely and you will hear them gnashing their teeth over how badly they misplayed their erstwhile devastatingly powerful gender card). That a Republican woman of hitherto unfathomed political potential should suddenly and spectacularly emerge on the national scene "suspends" all natural belief. Young, beautiful and possessed of a "fertile" imagination, unbridled energy, superior intelligence, positive convictions and unswerving determination, Sarah Palin, a mother of five and an established athlete of record,
is already a demonstrably accomplished and nationally respected political executive. With her seated beside the pilot in the cockpit, Republicans need no longer fret about McCain's age or cerebral lucidity. Clearly, the catalytic advent of Governor Sarah Palin has irreversibly
changed the psychodynamics of this turbulent presidential campaign.
And we are no longer a bored, frustrated and puzzled electorate. With the "barracuda" now in the swim, we have suddenly become excited participants.

Imagine the seismic effect
Sarah will have on Islamic women
If they ever get to hear her and see her!
>|< Comments: mailto:domgab1914@comcast.net(Hypothetical Roe v Wade comment) I believe that if Sarah Palin were asked to advise the Norma McCoveys (Jane Roes) of America on the subject of abortion, she might say this, “Be virtuous and very careful about whom you allow to penetrate your vulva. With only universally acceptable exceptions, no living fetus should be unwanted and unconscionably slain!” ~ Henry Wade, DA, Dallas ~ Bristol, Palin's 17 year old daughter is 5 months pregnant. She has opted to keep the baby and marry its teen age father. This was known to McCain when he made his VP choice.Dom ~ My wife Bryna reacted thusly, "I think it is absolutely useless. Sarah Palin does not qualify at all. She doesn't compare to Hillary in any way. She is against choice and the fact that she is a hunter turns me off completely." ~ Paul Cipes ~ Just curious: Isn't feticide, where an accomplice "mother" aids and abets a masked aborter in the slaying of her unborn baby, a heinous form of hunting? Especially as a physician, "First do no harm" is a moral principle that has always resonated very strongly within me - DomPerhaps, as John McCain pondered his vice-presidential selection, he recalled the advice of Margaret Thatcher: “In politics if you want anything said, ask a man. If you want anything done, ask a woman.” ~ William Kristol, OpEd, NY Times September 1, 2008 ~ WK knows Palin for longer than a year and he remains profoundly impressed by herDad ~ At first blush Sarah Palin seems to be a great pick made by John McCain. She will definitely bring the conservative wing of the party back to McCain. We need to wait to see how she handles the democrat leaning press and the arrogant and dismissive Biden. By the way Mark Levin refers to him as the dumbest man in the senate. I’m hoping she turns out to be all that she appears to be at this moment. ~ Tom Gabriele ~ She already impresses as being a very capable and very thoughtful woman. Can't wait for the debates with Biden ~ DadPapa ~ I completely disagree. McCain's people were foolish to believe they would secure female votes just by placing a woman on the Republican ticket. Governing the state of Alaska for two years does not qualify Sarah Palin for the vote of VP . I also think Governor Palin is forcing her daughter to keep her unborn child to save face in this election ~ Megan Pieroni (Megan, my granddaughter, is married and pregnant with her first child) Megan ~ does the fact that Obama "organized" a poverty stricken community in Chicago (now boarded up and abandoned) qualify him to become President of the U.S.? ~ PapaDad ~ It would be great if we could put all four resumes side by side without names, gender. party or age. Then give your readers 24 hours to cogitate and deliberate and then ask them to rate the candidates. I guarantee the results will be quite different from how they presently stand. Make it more interesting, mix up the R's and D's. Like Tom, I'm hoping Sarah survives the next 2 months. I think she has a very solid foundation and I expect great things. Perhaps some of the L-leaning critics among us might open their hearts and minds and give her an appropriate opportunity to present herself ~ Fred Gabriele ~ SP seems to be extraordinarily capable. She won't need any gratuitous concessions from her adversaries ~ DadHi Granpa ~ I visited your blog this evening and it was nice to catch up with your thoughts. I too am liking Palin and I am very curious to see how all of this will play out ~ Amy ~
It's so nice to hear from you. And let me assure you that my great grandson, due to be born in January, will be most grateful to bear the name Gabriel Owens. That sound you hear is the Archangel fluttering his wings in happy assent ~ Granpa
